Malaysian Old Lady Believed To Be Oldest in the World

From todays's Malaysia's local daily newpaper -The Star dated 26/8/2006:

"...She is the grand old lady of Malaysia. Wan Zainab Wan Abdullah, who is believed to be 117 years old, lives in a transit home for tsunami victims in Batu Feringghi and may well be one of the oldest women in the world, if not the oldest."

FYI, world's oldest man is Emiliano Mercado del Toro, age 115 from Puerto Rico and world's oldest woman is Maria Esther de Capovilla of Ecuador, who turns 117 on Sept. 14 - Yahoo!News
